The credo of Cabaret Voltaire is ‘breaking the boundaries in music’. In suitably subterranean and cellar-like premises club nights here including the long-running Ultragroove (house and techno) and the popular Soul Biscuits (funk and hip hop) plus many others.
Live bands also grace the stage regularly from up-and-coming acts to acclaimed niche performers like Red Snapper, Kristin Hersh, Kathryn Williams or the Long Blondes.
