The active heart of the city
Guadalupe River Park runs along the banks of the Guadalupe River from Highway 880 at the north, to Highway 280 at the south. The park is composed of many different areas, including Discovery Meadow, McEnery Park, Arena Garden, Confluence East and Guadalupe Gardens.
Guadalupe River Park is home to the famous Heritage Rose Garden. The park also features numerous examples of public art, including Tony Ridder’s Shoes, the Parade of Animals in Discovery Meadow, the Veteran’s Memorial and a tribute to the Ohlone/Muwekma people along the Park Avenue Bridge.
